About The Project
Eyes In The Woods is a first-person horror game divided into two distinct phases: day and night. During the day, players must solve puzzles and uncover more about the character they control. At night, survival becomes the priority as a terrifying beast prowls the area, hunting the player in their home.

Introduction:
I developed Eyes In The Woods during my fifth semester of university. This project marked a major leap in scale and complexity compared to my previous works. Both my team and I faced numerous challenges, but each obstacle became an opportunity for significant learning and growth.
Challenges:
One of the first major challenges was transitioning from 2D to 3D development. This shift required adapting to new technical and artistic demands that I hadn't encountered before. Additionally, I wanted to push myself by taking on new responsibilities: designing puzzles, integrating specialized audio, weaving narrative elements into gameplay, and creating a deeply unsettling atmosphere.
What I Learned:
During this project, I learned to work with new tools like FMOD, which was crucial for enhancing player immersion through dynamic and spatial audio. I gained valuable experience implementing sound in Unity and discovered the powerful features FMOD offers. I also developed my skills in handling 3D objects and models within Unity. Most importantly, I learned how to design gameplay that seamlessly integrates storytelling and atmosphere, creating a cohesive and impactful player experience.
