About The Project
Digital Plummet is a mobile arcade bullet-hell game centered around precise gravity control. Players must dodge traps, weapons, and various obstacles, striving to survive within a simulated prison. Success demands tight movement control using an intuitive drag-and-slide mechanic.

Introduction:
I developed Digital Plummet during my sixth semester of university. It was my first experience creating a mobile game, and it turned out to be a very fun and rewarding process. The mobile platform made it much easier for a wide audience to test the game and provide valuable feedback, which helped us refine and polish the overall experience.
Challenges:
In this project, I initially took on a more creative and artistic role, which required me to develop skills I do not frequently use. Later, I was responsible for the game's sound design and audio implementation, a task that demanded a deep understanding of the existing systems and how to integrate new elements seamlessly into the gameplay.
What I Learned:
Through Digital Plummet, I significantly improved my pixel art drawing skills and learned how to implement 2D assets effectively within Unity. Additionally, I gained important knowledge about optimization techniques critical for mobile development, ensuring smooth performance across a range of devices.
Awards:
Best Videogame at DEX projects exhibition 2024-2 UPB.
